Caitlin Gordon-Walker, owner and editor at CGW Editing Services, is an interdisciplinary scholar with a passion for writing and language. After completing a PhD at Trent University in 2013, she decided to pursue her passion for writing and language through a career in editing. She loves working to ensure the consistency of each author’s unique voice and the clarity of the author’s intentions. Offering a range of services for both new and established authors, she specializes in editing academic writing in the humanities and social sciences.

Caitlin’s own academic work draws together perspectives from the fields of anthropology, political theory, history, sociology, geography, literature, and visual and material culture studies. Her research explores the politics of museums and other sites of public cultural representation, specifically in relation to nationalism, colonialism, and migration. Her book Exhibiting Nation: Multicultural Nationalism (and Its Limits) in Canada’s Museums was released in October, 2016.
